That face you get when (in your head) there are four endings to this comic chapter,

the 1st, ends the comic at the start, tragically,
the 2nd, Cobb slips into unconsciousness from drowning, while hunting with Ark, experiencing the thing he wanted to do the most as a close friend,
the 3rd, it was Arks imagination, day dreaming about being friends with someone who was an orphan from another tribe,
the 4th, Ark while on a hunt, meets Cobb, forms a bond while working together, becomes more then friendship, but feels conflicted when he has to return to his tribe with Cobb,

Whats sad is that, if Ark is too conflicted about bringing Cobb back to his tribe after spending intimate time together, he might kill off Cobb, to hide from everyone at his tribe that he is secretly gay, viewing his social status is more valuable than someone he can have relations with, three of the four endings are connected, if true

5th, the happy ending, involves Cobb becoming Ark’s beta consort. Now they HAVE to respect him, he’s the alpha’s husband.

Then again, I suppose that this tribe may make Cobb alpha consort instead. It really all depends on the rules of nobility in the tribe. Damn, monarchies are confusing as shit.
